2006, THE NATIVITY

Eleazar
To Bethlehem I want to go.
Coming along, rabadà*?
- I want to have breakfast!

In Bethlehem we'll breakfast
and Jesus we'll glorify.
- There's too much snow!

The snow along the way
the heat will melt it away.
- Some "heat" this is!

Come on, stand up, light the fire;
Don't be slow!
- I'm already hurrying too much!

* Popular catalán Christmas song. A "rabadà" is, in Catalonia, a shepherd boy, unskilled and illiterate. Hence the childishness of the song, and the infantile, frivolous and somewhat irreverent replies the rabadá gives.
